Webb Wins LPGA Achievement Award


Karrie Webb has won the inaugural Crowne Plaza Achievement Award, an international award presented to the LPGA player who earns the most points in eight selected events.
Webb recorded top-10 finishes in seven of the eight Crowne Plaza events. She did not play in one, the Mizuno Classic.
For winning the award, Webb receives complimentary stays worldwide at the Bass Hotels and Resorts, Inc., properties for one year. Second-place Meg Mallon receives 100 free stays and third-place Lori Kane receives 50 nights.
