Woods Commits to Buick Classic

World No. 1 Tiger Woods has officially committed to Junes Buick Classic at the Westchester Country Club in New York.
The formal announcement came on Thursday, the 14th, when Woods ' a Buick endorser ' made the call.
The Buick Classic is one of the few tournaments that Woods has yet to win in his young career. He has only played it twice, however, once as an amateur in 1994 and then in his first full year as a professional in 97.
This year, the 25-year-old will enter the event as champion of four of his last five starts on the PGA Tour, the leading money winner for 2001 and title-holder of the last four consecutive major championships.
Dennis Paulson will be looking to defend at Westchester, as he beat out David Duval last year on the fourth hole of a sudden-death playoff.
