Woods Commits to Byron Nelson

As expected, Tiger Woods officially committed Wednesday to next weeks Verizon Byron Nelson Classic at the TPC at Las Colinas in Irving, Tx.
This will be Woods first start since winning his fourth consecutive major at the Masters Tournament.
Coincidentally, Woods won this tournament in 1997, the event after he captured his first Green Jacket.
This will be Tigers fifth straight Nelson appearance. The purse will be $4.5 million, with $810,000 going to the winner.
Woods, who currently leads the 2001 PGA Tour money list with over $3 million, wont be in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area long. While the tour will stick around for the Colonial Invitational Tournament the following week, Woods will travel to Germany for a seven-figure appearance fee at the Deutsche Bank-SAP Open.
