Woods Commits to Mays Deutsche Bank


Tiger Woods has officially committed to the 2002 Deutsche Bank Open May 16-19.
The appearance will mark Woods first European start since the September 11th terrorist attacks in the United States, and it will mark his fourth consecutive appearance at this particular event in Heidelberg, Germany.
Woods won the tournament in his first showing in 99 and triumphed again in 01 by four shots.
In a statement released by tournament organizers, Woods claimed: I am looking forward to my fourth successive start and I will try to defend my title at the St. Leon-Rot course.
