Woods to Play in Germany Again

Tiger Woods will try for his third consecutive title in Germany later this year when he plays the Deutsche Bank ' SAP Open TPC of Europe at the Gut Kaden course in Hamburg May 15-18.
Woods beat Colin Montgomerie in a play-off at St Leon-Rot in 2002 to continue his remarkable success rate at the Heidelberg venue, having also won there in 2001 and 1999.
The only time Woods has not won the tournament was the last time the event was staged at Gut Kaden, in 2000, when he finished third behind Lee Westwood.
Indicative of the success of the Deutsche Bank ' SAP Open TPC of Europe is that last years event was the first time that tickets for a golf tournament in Germany were sold out, 20,000 spectators per day flocking to the course.
