Wright Leads Strong Field into Lima


Futures TourLast weeks winner and No. 2 on the Futures Tour money list, Lindsey Wright of Australia will join eight other top-10 players in the field at this weeks Lima Memorial Hospital Futures Golf Classic at Lost Creek Country Club in Lima, Ohio.
Also in the field with Wright are the rest of the 2004 seasons tournament winners including Aree Song who earned her first professional win at the New Innsbrook C.C. Futures Golf Classic last month.
Jimin Kang, who won the Tampa Bay's Next Generation Futures Golf Classic in March will need a solid week to hold on to the top spot on the money list. She leads Wright by less than $4,000. The top five players at years end earn exempt status on the LPGA Tour for 2005.
Playing in her third tournament since turning professional three weeks ago will be Ohio State graduate and Big Ten standout Allison Hanna of Portland, Ore., who finished third in her pro debut in Indiana.
