ORLANDO, Fla. (September 29, 2005) ' The Golf Channels Big Break reality show is crossing the ocean again, as producers have selected Turtle Bay Resort in Oahu, Hawaii, as the production site for the series latest installment, The Big Break V: Hawaii.

Nestled on the North Shore of Hawaiis third-largest island, Turtle Bay Resort is home to two championship courses, the Arnold Palmer Course and the George Fazio Course. The Palmer Course, designed by The Golf Channels co-founder and PGA TOUR legend, is the site of the Champions Tours Turtle Bay Championship, while the Fazio course has hosted the LPGA Tours SBS Open at Turtle Bay. The Fazio course was also the site of the first Senior Skins game, which featured Palmer, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Sam Sneed and Gary Player.

The Big Break crew is used to taking the show abroad, as producers selected Scotlands Carnoustie Golf Club as home site for The Big Break IV: USA vs. Europe, which premiered on Sept. 13 and currently airs Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. ET through Dec. 20.

The huge popularity of the ladies version of The Big Break series on The Golf Channel has given rise to the networks decision to bring the ladies back in 2006 with an all-new cast and host of challenges that will test their will to succeed and, for one, fulfill her dream of playing on the LPGA Tour.

The Big Break show concept pits highly skilled golfers against each other in a variety of challenges that test their physical skills and mental toughness. One golfer is eliminated from the series each week, with the last golfer standing awarded his/her Big Break, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete in select professional tour events with some of the best golfers in the world.

Reprising its partnership role for the ladies version will be Anheuser-Busch Inc. and its Michelob ULTRA brand. The recently concluded The Big Break III: Ladies Only was hugely popular for The Golf Channel and became a major hit. The Big Break III winner, Danielle Amiee, garnered national attention during the two LPGA Tour stops to which she earned exemptions by winning the show.
