Tip of the Week: Lose the scoop on your chip shots

Making solid contact when chipping is often tough for the average golfer, many of whom struggle with that aspect of the game because they tend to scoop the ball.

Ironically, that dreaded scooping action might come in some form or fashion from simply trying to be too aggressive with the swing.



In this video segment, School of Golf host Martin Hall is going to show you a great drill that you can use when you practice to take the scoop out of your chipping game.

And all you’ll have to do is take a little energy and distance out of your follow-through.
