Michelle Wie is having a great 2014 season and many view her as one of the favorites to win the U.S. Women's Open at Pinehurst No. 2 this week.
One of the reasons that Wie has played so well is her improved ball-striking, which has been the result of a square clubface far more often at impact.
How Wie accomplished that improved impact position with her coach David Leadbetter might come as a surprise, however, and in this video segment School of Golf host Martin Hall will explain what has been a highly effective strategy.
So if you want to be a better ball-striker and improve what you're doing at impact, like Wie, don't focus on the hit but rather make sticking your finish the goal.
If you can do that, you'll see improved results in no time.
