Tip of the Week: Understand how to release the club

RSS

Most golfers have heard at one time or another that to hit solid shots they need to "release" the club.

The concept of releasing the cub, however, as well as what equates to a proper release, can be confusing.

If you've ever had trouble understanding what it means to release the club, this video from School of Golf host Martin Hall should be a significant help.

And Hall won't just explain what releasing the club means; he'll also give you a great tip to help you improve the release in your swing.

Try this drill and implement the feel. If you do, the result will be an improved release and that will lead to more powerful and more accurate shots.
