Golf Channel to Deliver Golf's Longest Day


Golf Channel will follow U.S. Open Sectional Qualifying on June 3 with 17 consecutive LIVE hours of coverage from 13 locations around the United States. During Golf’s Longest Day, nearly 1,000 amateur and professional golfers will attempt to qualify for less than 70 spots available to compete in the U.S. Open Championship.

Golf’s Longest Day will begin with an expanded four-hour Morning Drive show from 7-11am ET, and will continue until Midnight ET with interviews, analysis, highlights, scoring updates and social media content across Golf Channel television and digital platforms. A team of reporters and analysts will deliver news coverage and document stories of golfers trying to realize lifelong dreams, resurrect careers and make it to golf’s brightest stage.

Rich Lerner and Steve Sands will host Golf Central television updates from Golf Channel studios. Streaming content will be available on and the Golf Live Extra app from 7am-Midnight ET. will supplement TV coverage with additional news and analysis, as well as social media content from Golf Channel reporters.
