Meg Mallon, who is retiring after the U.S. Women's Open, was one of the first players that I got a chance to speak with. She immediately made me feel at ease and has done so ever since. And I think that universally LPGA players and fans would say the same thing. She is a classy lady and she had an amazing career.
Even more amazing is the number of friends she collected along the way. Her friendly smile and great sense of humor will be missed. I hope she won’t be a stranger to the game. And most importantly I wish her the very best of luck in her “life after competitive golf.”
