Big Break finalist ONeal checks out McDonalds Wie

HAVRE DE GRACE, Md. – Blair O'Neal, one of the four finalists on “Big Break: Prince Edward Island,” will mingle in the gallery Friday afternoon at the McDonald's LPGA Championship, where she plans to follow Big Break grad Kristy McPherson and Michelle Wie.
O'Neal, 27, a University of Arizona State graduate who twice won the NCAA Long Drive Championship, will be paired with Wie in Monday's U.S. Women's Open sectional qualifier at Woodmont Country Club in nearby Rockville, Md. She expects the first time she'll meet Wie is on the first tee at Woodmont.
O'Neal, who's never played in the U.S. Women's Open and is competing in her first sectional qualifier, said she doesn't mind the heightened pressure that will come being paired with Wie.
'I think it's a good thing,' O'Neal said. 'I understand there will be a lot of LPGA players there, and you have to play them sooner or later.'
The U.S. Women's Open is July 9-12 at Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pa.
“Big Break: Prince Edward Island” airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Golf Channel.
