Captain Daniel defends Kims actions

U.S. Solheim Cup captain Beth Daniel said she sat Christina Kim down early last week to talk about toning down her demeanor in the international team event, but Kim was incapable of complying.

“She’s very comfortable with who she is,” Daniel said. “That’s Christina Kim.”

While Daniel acknowledged Kim’s animated exhortations upset the European team, she defended her player, saying Kim “doesn’t have an unsportsmanlike bone in her body.”
