Championship match set at Womens Am

RSS

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The 36-hole championship match is underway at the U.S. Women’s Amateur as Jessica Korda and Danielle Kang square off. Two things are for certain by day’s end. A 17-year-old will be lifting the Robert Cox trophy and the winner will get a big hug from their father.

Former Australian Open tennis champion Petr Korda is toting the bag for his oldest child as Petr was a world-class player. K.S. Kang is alongside his daughter, as the All-American from Pepperdine would love nothing more than to add this prestigious championship to her resume.

Golf Channel coverage begins Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. ET.
