Choi takes lead into Sunday of Women's Open

Only four players in U.S. Women's Open history have ever bettered what Na Yeon Choi did on Saturday at Blackwolf Run in Kohler, Wis.

Choi shot a 7-under 65 to take the lead by six shots at 8 under heading into the final round of the biggest championship in women's golf.

Amy Yang (69) was one of five players to beat par on Saturday and the only player other than Choi to do it by more than one shot. Yang is alone in second at 2 under, one clear of Lexi Thompson, Sandra Gal and Mika Miyazato.

Those five are the only players under par for the championship. Vicky Hurst is at even par, while 36-hole leader Suzann Pettersen (78) fell to 1 over.

Michelle Wie, who shot a 66 on Friday, gave back all she gained in the second round. She shot a 6-over 78 in the third round to fall to 2 over.
