Clark working his way back from injury

ORLANDO, Fla. – Slowly but surely, Tim Clark is working his way back from last summer’s elbow surgery that delayed the beginning of his 2012 season.

Clark has so far played in two events, missing the cut in both the Northern Trust Open and Transitions Championship, but will tee it up at this week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational, followed by the Masters Tournament in two weeks and a regular schedule afterward.

“It’s not bad; it’s getting there,” he said of the injury. “You know, just trying to get a few rounds in, but so far it’s feeling pretty good.”

As for his game, Clark contends that’s feeling pretty good, too, despite failing to break 75 in any of his four competitive rounds so far this season.

“It’s not too far off,” he said. “It’s just kind of rusty. I’m hitting the odd shot that isn’t expected, but I feel like it could click in at any time. It could be a couple of weeks, it could be a couple of months, but I’ve just got to keep playing.”
