PALM BEACH, Fla. – Actor John O’Hurley was funny as host of the ADT Golf Skills Challenge dinner banquet Monday night at The Breakers.
Kevin Nealon was hilarious as the main event.
But Fred Couples might have gotten the biggest laugh of the night as “Freddy just being Freddy.”
O’Hurley, best known as J. Peterman on the NBC sitcom Seinfeld, was asking questions with all eight participants in the skills challenge on stage with him. When he got to Couples, O’Hurley talked about his admiration of Couples swing, the effortlessness of it.
“When you get to the top of your swing, do you stop thinking?” O’Hurley asked.
Couples didn’t let a beat skip.
“I stop thinking at 8 in the morning when I get up,” he cracked.
The quick response brought the house down.
