Creamer keeps a steady head

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Several times during Thursday’s first round of the U.S. Women's Open, caddie Colin Cann could be seen holding the grip end of a club to Paula Creamer’s head as she was taking a practice swing. Creamer has a tendency to dive into the ball and use her hands too much, says Cann. The club is a reminder to stay tall and in her posture so she doesn’t dip her head.

Moments after running through this drill, Creamer hit a 7-wood approach from 200 yards to 2-1/2 feet on the par-4 7th hole (although she missed the putt for birdie).
