Dazed and confused at US Open

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – Northern Ireland's Graeme McDowell just completed his third round at the U.S. Open, he thinks.

McDowell said all the delays have made this a most confusing week.

'I lost track of what I was doing out there, what round it was and what golf tournament I was playing,' he cracked after posting a 69 to leave himself at even par for the championship. 'It shouldn't be like that at a U.S. Open.

'It's just been difficult to keep yourself motivated. You lose track of what's going on. It didn't feel like it was the third round.'
