Delicate little beast bites Marino

AUGUSTA, Ga. – One has to hand it to Steve Marino, he may be a rookie but he’s learning fast.

After opening his round with a 32 on the front nine and making birdie at the 10th to get to 5 under Marino went bogey-par-bogey-bogey. He rallied with birdies at the 15th and a 30 footer at the last to finish his day with a 69 and is tied for 10th place.

“This golf course is such a delicate little beast. If you blink for a second you are going to pay for it,” Marino said.

He’s sounding more like a veteran with each round.
