Phil Mickelson drew attention for his post-round comments Thursday, stating that the recent renovations at Atlanta Athletic Club are 'a perfect example of how modern architecture is killing the game,' and calling certain holes 'unplayable for the member.'  Recent trends in course design have led to longer, tougher courses in general, but have those trends gone too far in terms of playing conditions for the average player?
