Early Sunday finish at East Lake

ATLANTA – Saturday’s play at the Tour Championship was moved up three hours because of the Notre Dame-Stanford game, which will be aired on NBC at 3:30 p.m. (ET). On Sunday it was another divine act that pushed tee times back three hours and will result in an earlier-than-scheduled finish at the finale.

An approaching storm prompted officials to move back Sunday tee times, with the leaders going at 11:20 a.m. and finishing around 3:30 p.m. That’s good news for the nine American Ryder Cup players in the field who have a 10 p.m. charter from Atlanta to Wales on Sunday.
