Eventful Saturday for Woods

Tiger Woods weathered another eventful day at the Dubai Desert Classic, opening his third round with back-to-back bogeys and finishing with four birdies, an eagle, four bogeys and a double bogey.

Through 54 holes Woods has parred just 29 holes, but is still just one stroke off the lead and tied for fourth place.

That’s as close as he’s been to the lead through three rounds in an official PGA Tour or European Tour event since he led by seven strokes through 54 holes at the 2009 BMW Championship.
