Fair weather forecast for 36-hole final


PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The Wegmans LPGA Championship is scheduled to conclude Sunday with a marathon 36-hole finish at Locust Hill Country Club.

The likelihood of an on-time finish is promising with a favorable weather forecast calling for mostly sunny skies, a high temperature of 78 degrees and just a 10 percent chance of rain.

The third round is scheduled to begin about 6:30 a.m. with threesomes going off the No. 1 and No. 10 tees. There will be no re-pairing according to scores after the third round. Threesomes will stay together and should begin heading out for the final round about noon.

Morgan Pressel, the 36-hole leader at 6-under 138, will go off in the final pairing with Rolex world No. 1 Inbee Park and Chella Choi, who are two shots back.
