Final hole mars Inbee Park's round

PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Rolex world No. 1 Inbee Park was just two shots off the lead when she stepped to the 18th tee Friday at the Wegmans LPGA Championship, but then she airmailed the final green.

Park made double bogey from a wiry patch back there.

“I played good until the last hole,” Park said. “I’ll take even par every day here. It’s not a bad start, and I have three more [rounds] to play this good.”

Park finished two shots better than Rolex world No. 2 Stacy Lewis. That’s notable in that Lewis can regain the No. 1 ranking from Park this week. To do so, Lewis must win while Park finishes third or worse.
