Final round of CIMB twice delayed by weather

Mother Nature is still wreaking havoc on the PGA Tour – even in a new season and half a world away.

The final round of the CIMB Classic in Malaysia was twice delayed by inclement weather on Sunday. The first delay at Kuala Lumpur Country Club caused more than a three-hour suspension of the play, and then Round 4 was delayed for a second time at 5:20 p.m. local time, with leader Gary Woodland staked to a one-shot lead on the 15th green.

A steady rain continued to fall as the horn blew to resume play, but no lightning was reported in the area.
