First Tee CEO in stable condition after stroke

Joe Louis Barrow Jr., the chief executive officer of The First Tee, was hospitalized last weekend after suffering a hemorrhagic stroke. He is listed in stable condition in the intensive care unit at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla.

According to a statement released by Steve Mona, the chief executive officer of the World Golf Foundation, Barrow is “responsive and communicating clearly.”
