FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – Lucas Glover lost his footing at the fourth hole while hitting his tee shot and NBC analyst Johnny Miller applauded his athleticism: “He could have whiffed.”
Talking with Randy Myers, the director of fitness at Sea Island (Ga.) Resort who works with Glover, he was just as impressed with his man’s athleticism.
“If you were going to select a golfer first in a draft, you’d look for a player with great hip and back flexibility,” Myers said. “Lucas is super flexible. We’ve been working on making him stronger and his core strength, but his flexibility is phenomenal.”
