More golf awaits Johnson Kuchar

Monday’s one-point heartbreaker will make the flight home from Wales to Atlanta that much more difficult for the American squad, but for a few aboard the U.S. team’s Ryder Cup charter they won’t have much time to linger on the loss.

Zach Johnson and Matt Kuchar, both Sea Island, Ga., residents, are signed on to play this week’s McGladrey Classic and according to tournament director Mark Love they will both be on site for the second Fall Series event.

“Zach I am certain (he will play) and I have not heard anything to the contrary from Matt,” Love wrote in an e-mail on Monday.

Love’s brother Davis, who was one of Corey Pavin’s assistant captains at Celtic Manor, is also scheduled to play and host this week’s Tour stop.
