Golfs ageless wonder Inkster Korda

More of the wonders of golf today in Thailand.

Jessica Korda, 17, teed it up for the first time as an LPGA member in the season-opener at the Honda LPGA Thailand and shot a respectable 1-over par 73, tying her for 32nd after the first round.

Juli Inkster, 50, playing in her 548th LPGA event, opened with a 66, tying her for second.

Inkster, who has two daughters, one older than Korda and another the same age, won the first of her 31 LPGA titles 10 years before Korda was born.

Asked today about her longevity, Inkster said: 'I enjoy what I do. I get to travel, go to Thailand. It beats being home and being a housewife.'
