LEMONT, Ill. – Charley Hoffman’s glow wasn’t diminished in the least Tuesday by news that he wasn’t among the four American Ryder Cup captain’s picks.
Hoffman was still riding the high from winning the Deutsche Bank Championship with a final-round 62 when he stepped into the media tent at the BMW Championship less than 24 hours after his victory.
“No disappointment,” Hoffman said. “Really, I had all year to play my way onto the team. When you leave it up to the captain’s pick, you can’t be disappointed because you had your chance to earn your spot.”
