The Palm Beach Gardens tournament has been held at the Champion Course, which features the three-hole stretch known as the 'Bear Trap' since 2007.
Tiger Woods competed this year in the tournament for the first time since 1993, when he was a 17-year-old amateur. Tournament officials said this year's event attracted 162,000 spectators for the week - an increase of 50,000 over 2011.
In February, American Honda announced a similar four-year agreement to remain title sponsor of the tournament through 2016. The car maker is the longest-running continuous title sponsor on the PGA Tour, having its name on the event since 1982.
