Kaymer uncertain Woods can reclaim world No. 1

Martin Kaymer knows what it takes to be No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking. He's uncertain if Tiger Woods will be able to add to his record number of weeks atop the ladder.

The 2010 PGA Championship winner was asked Friday if Woods would again climb the statistical summit to the top of the OWGR.

'We will see,' Kaymer said at the Malaysian Open, according to AFP.

Rory McIlroy and Luke Donald are locked in an ongoing game of hot potato for the No. 1 spot. Others, including Woods, will need a string of several consistent months of wins and high finishes to approach the lead pair.

Kaymer sees Woods following up on his seventh Bay Hill win with more in the near future.

'The way he played in Florida when he won was amazing, fantastic. I think for him it's just a matter of time when he will compete well every week,' said the German, who made his first cut at the Masters last week.

'Obviously he's the best player that ever played the game so it's just a matter of time that he will win plenty of tournaments again.'
