Tahnee Kirk, wife of PGA Tour player Chris Kirk, gave birth to the couple’s first child late Wednesday, a 20-inch, 7-pound, 3-ounce boy named Sawyer Montgomery.
“Coolest day of my life,” Kirk tweeted. “Just unbelievable.”
Sawyer was born at 11:58 p.m. at Brunswick (Ga.) Hospital. According to Kirk’s manager with Crown Sports he is tentatively scheduled to play next week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational and will “definitely” play the Shell Houston Open.
