Ko cards second-straight 71 at CME Titleholders

NAPLES, Fla. – Lydia Ko felt better about her second round as a pro, but  . . .

“The score was the same,” Ko said.

The 16-year-old phenom from New Zealand was under par again, shooting another 1-under-par 71 Friday at the CME Group Titleholders. This 71 took a better effort with blustery wind picking up in the second round. She played alongside Stacy Lewis (73).

Ko, 16, sits tied for 23rd at Tiburon. She said she isn’t feeling any different now that she’s a pro.

“It’s still me playing golf,” she said. “The sport hasn’t changed. A lot of the competitors haven’t changed. No big changes.”
