On Monday, the Kraft Nabisco Championship announced exemptions for five amateurs into the LPGA's first major.
The tournament invited top-ranked Thai teen sisters Moriya and Ariya Jutanugarn, along with Jaye Marie Green, Austin Ernst and Charley Hull.
Ariya, the current U.S. Junior Girls' Amateur champion, played in the tournament last year under an exemption. Moriya garnered an invite, in part, with her runner-up finish at the U.S. Women's Amateur.
Ernst, a sophomore at LSU, is the top American in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Along with John Peterson, she was part of the sweep of the individual NCAA Championship.
Hull, a 15-year-old English player, is the highest-ranked Brit in the amateur ranking. Last month, she won the prestigious Harder Hall Women's Invitational in Florida.
Green, who turned 18 on Feb. 2, qualified for her first U.S. Women's Open at age 16. She is the fifth-highest ranked American in the latest amateur ranking.
