Lopez hopes cupid hits Kim

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Comedian George Lopez has a plan after missing another cut at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

He said he is going to send a special Valentine's gift Sunday in a bid to recruit a certain young star to be his partner next year.

'I have a love telegram and bouquet for Anthony Kim,' Lopez said. 'I am going to keep playing until I get the right dude.'

Lopez and Rory Sabbatini teamed to shoot 11 under, tying them for 113th.

'We are rodeo clowns,' Lopez said of the celebrity players. 'We are distractions, plate spinners.'

Michael Collins, a veteran PGA Tour caddie and former stand-up comic, caddied for Lopez.

'I've probably caddied for him in 20 events,' Collins said. 'He likes to play. One year, he had more starts than Tiger Woods going into New Orleans.'
