LPGA Tour Championship finds new home

The LPGA Tour Championship is moving to Orlando, Fla., Golfweek is reporting.

The season-ending event will reportedly be played Dec. 2-5 at Grand Cypress Resort, marking the LPGA’s return to Florida. The Sunshine State had three LPGA events in 2008 but none since the ADT Championship in West Palm Beach shut down at the end of that year. The LPGA had three Florida events in ’08.

The LPGA Tour Championship moves from Houston, where it was held for just one year.
