Making up for lost time

Paul Casey comes off the DL this week for the Volvo World Match Play in Spain, his first event since the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational where he withdrew after just six holes with a rib injury.

Casey tried to play in the PGA Tour FedEx Cup playoffs but was advised to rest and rehab the injury, which he suffered while preparing for the British Open.

Casey’s manager with IMG, Guy Kinnings, said his man is fully recovered and plans to play next week’s World Golf Championship-HSBC Champions in China, the Hong Kong Open, the Dubai World Championship and the Chevron World Challenge.

Sounds like a man making up for lost time.
