Australian teenager Minjee Lee scored her first victory in a professional event on Sunday, capturing the Victorian Open by six strokes in Melbourne, Australia.
Lee, 17, the No. 3-ranked woman amateur in the world, shot a final-round 68, 6 under par, and finished at 16-under 279 in the Australian Ladies Professional Golf-sanctioned event at the Thirteenth Beach Golf Course in Melbourne.
She recently finished second to Cheyenne Woods in the Australian Ladies Masters, then tied for 11th last week in the Women's Australian Open.
Lee won the U.S. Girls' Junior in 2012, then recorded back-to-back Australian Women's Amateur titles in 2013 and '14.
