Mojo 6 motors along in Jamaica

The Mojo 6, an LPGA sanctioned event with unofficial earnings, and it’s unusual format will move into the second day with Cristie Kerr, Na Yeon Choi and Amanda Blumenherst leading the way. The first day of the inaugural event Thursday at Cinnamon Hill Golf Course in Montego Bay, Jamaica, had all 16 players competing in three different six-hole matches. Each hole won was worth a point and each match victory was worth one bonus point, for a maximum of seven points per match. A half-point was awarded for a halved hole.

After each set of matches, players were ranked by point and the top eight players got to select their next opponent. Ties were broken via the Rolex Rankings.

1. Cristie Kerr (13)

2. Na Yeon Choi (13)
