Nicklaus' advice leads to success for players

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – The line to get in and see Jack Nicklaus might be getting longer.

At the Honda Classic this week, Keegan Bradley said he is seeking a dinner with Nicklaus to talk to him about playing Augusta National in Bradley’s first Masters in five weeks. Trevor Immelman picked Nicklaus’ brain before he won the Masters four years ago. Charl Schwartzel did the same before he won the Masters last year. Rory McIlroy met with Nicklaus over dinner and won the U.S. Open last year.

On Tuesday, Nicklaus revealed that six weeks ago he met with LPGA pro Jessica Korda and her father, Petr, the former tennis champ. Korda went on to win the LPGA season opener in Australia earlier this month.

“What am I telling them?” Nicklaus said. “Maybe I better write it down . . . I never thought I’d be a psyche coach.”
