The Rolex world No. 1-2-3 players will be grouped together at the start of the Honda LPGA Thailand.

So will teen stars Lydia Ko, Lexi Thompson and Ariya Jutanugarn.

No. 1 Inbee Park, No. 2 Suzann Pettersen and No. 3 Stacy Lewis will go off together Thursday at 11:51 a.m. local time (11:51 p.m. Wednesday ET) at Siam Country Club’s Pattaya Old Course. When the trio was grouped together last summer in the first two rounds of the U.S. Women’s Open, Park dominated, beating Pettersen by 19 shots over those two days and Lewis by 12.

Ko, 16, Thompson, 19, and Jutanugarn, 18, look like the future of golf. Ko is No. 4 in the world and Thompson No. 9. Jutanugarn was No. 15 in the world when she tore a labrum in her right shoulder at the Wegmans LPGA Championship last summer. She teed it up for the first time since the shoulder was surgically repaired six months ago at last week’s Women’s Australian Open and missed the cut. She nearly won the Honda LPGA Thailand last year, losing a two-shot lead at the final hole to Park in heartbreaking fashion in her homeland.
