October is the best of months for Jason Bohn, and not just because his kids are still costume age and an assortment of October-fest celebrations near his Georgia home.

Each October Bohn gets a slice of the $1 million hole-in-one contest he won while playing college golf at Alabama. He’s also played some decent golf in the scariest of months.

In 2006 he secured his Tour card with a runner-up finish in Greensboro in October. A year earlier, he finished third at the same event, and on Sunday in Las Vegas he posted his seventh top 25 of the season (T-15).

Scary indeed.
