Mark Twain once said: “I would have written you a short letter, but I didn’t have time.”
What would Twain have thought of squeezing ideas into Twitter? Would he have agonized over 140 characters?
Red Smith once wrote: “Writing is easy. All you do is sit in front of your typewriter until little drops of blood form on your forehead.”
Would Smith have hemorrhaged less tweeting?
I don’t know, but I’m in. Everybody’s doing it, or so it seems. So I’m tweeting, too.
You can follow me at www.twitter.com/RandallMell. I’ll tweet you places quicker than I can blog you in Shag Bag. Or, sometimes, I’ll just alert you that I’ve written something at GolfChannel.com that you might like. Or, at times, I’ll just be popping off. Consider this an official invitation to follow me.
