After picking up his second PGA Tour win in his last three starts, newlywed Jason Dufner has cracked the top 15 in the Official World Golf Ranking. Dufner checks in at No. 14 this week, gaining seven spots after his win at the HP Byron Nelson Championship.
Rory McIlroy remains the No. 1 player in the world, leading Luke Donald by .16 points. The rest of the top eight is unchanged this week. Lee Westwood is third, followed by Bubba Watson, Matt Kuchar, Hunter Mahan, Tiger Woods and Steve Stricker. Phil Mickelson is ninth, while Justin Rose jumps to 10th. Martin Kaymer fell out of the top 10 to 12th.
Belgian Nicolas Colsaerts moved up 19 spots to 32nd after his win in the Volvo World Match Play Championship. Runner-up Graeme McDowell moved up two spots to 18th.
The top 60 in this week's OWGR are exempt into the U.S. Open, while the top 50 are in the British Open field. Kevin Na is at No. 50, while Miguel Angel Jimenez is on the right side of the bubble at No. 60.
Robert Rock and Rafael Cabrera-Bello played their way into the top 60 at the Volvo Match Play. Retief Goosen gained five spots to No. 61 but is exempt into the U.S. Open already.
Dicky Pride did not come close to cracking the top 60, but his second-place finish at the Nelson moved him from 354th in the world to No. 181.
