SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Brendan Steele posted a career-low 7-under 64 at the Waste Management Phoenix Open on Sunday to climb the leader board.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that it came at TPC-Scottsdale.
Three of Steele’s top-four finishes last season – including his victory at the Valero Texas Open – came on TPC courses.
“Yeah, I like TPCs for some reason,” he said. “Anytime you see a TPC on the schedule, you can expect to see me there.”
