AVONDALE, La. – The final round of the Zurich Classic is scheduled to resume at 1:30 p.m. local time after more than a two-hour delay.
An inch of rain fell at TPC Louisiana as a line of severe storms rolled through the area.
With inclement weather in the forecast, officials had moved up tee times about four hours Sunday, sending players off in threesomes off split tees (beginning at 7 a.m. CT) and allowing them to play preferred lies. The final group went off at 9:01.
Leader Lucas Glover (14 under) was on the sixth green when play was suspended. He had a one-shot lead over Boo Weekley, Billy Horschel, D.A. Points and Jimmy Walker as he tried to win for the first time in nearly two years.
