Streak snapper: Tiger finally wins again

RSS

Finally. Tiger Woods has ended a two-year victory drought by making consecutive birdies on the final two holes Sunday to win the Chevron World Challenge at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif. Zach Johnson missed a 12-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole that would've sent the duo into a sudden-death playoff.

'It feels great, it was a lot of fun coming down the stretch like that,' Woods said. 'It feels awesome. Today was a picture perfect day.'

Woods shot 69-67-63-69 for a 10-under 278 total. The victory is expected to move Woods to No. 21 in the Official World Golf Ranking. Johnson shot 73-67-68-71 for a 279.
